This parameter is used to instruct the PAD whether to transfer PAD service signals and the PAD prompt to the local DTE in standard format. The options are (1) PAD service signals are transmitted to the DTE using the standard format, (4) The PAD prompt is transmitted using the standard format, (5) PAD service signals and the PAD prompt are transmitted in the standard format, or (255) No PAD service signals are transmitted to the DTE.
