tmnxPtpNeighborBestMaster
TIMETRA-PTP-MIB ·
.1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.74.3.7.1.6
Object
column SNMPv2-TCTruthValue
The value of tmnxPtpNeighborBestMaster indicates whether or not this
neighboring clock is the best master clock, as decided by the Best
Master Clock Algorithm (BMCA).
Even if tmnxPtpNeighborBestMaster is true, this clock may not be the
parent clock.
For Assisted Partial Timing Support (APTS), when the best master clock
is not the parent clock, the local clock recovers frequency and time
from this clock, and calculates the delay asymmetry between the two
clocks.
