Object
scalar r/w
degreesInteger32
Current heat setpoint regardless of whether the thermostat is in manual mode or not, or if there is an override active or not. This field will always yield the heat setpoint in use by the thermostat at any given time. The scale is either F or C depending on what is configured for SNMP. When written to, if in manual mode and no override being active, it will modify the current manual mode setpoint (occupied or unoccupied, whichever the device is is). If in manual mode and in override, it will update the override cool setpoint, and finally, if not in manual mode, it will start an override or modify the cool setpoint of an ongoing one. If an override is started as a consequence of writing to this object, the corresponding cool setpoint will be set to whatever the current operating cool setpoint value is. If you want to start an override when in manual mode, the overrideHeatSetpoint object can be used.
