A unique index identifying an Optical Protection
Switch instance within the DCP system.
The index is encoded using the following format:
c s oo 00
where:
c - chassis identifier
s - slot identifier (0 if not applicable)
oo - optical switch number within the slot
The optical switch numbering starts at 1 and
increases sequentially.
