Object

The number of input packets which arrived
on a particular physical interface which 
were too quick for the hardware to receive
and hence the receiver ran out of buffers.
              
Discontinuities in the value of this variable
can occur at re-initialization of the
management system, and at other times as 
indicated by the values of 
cieIfPacketDiscontinuityTime.
