Notifications / Traps (5)
NameOIDDescription
.0.54.2.0.1
A pimNeighborLoss trap signifies the loss of an adjacency
with a neighbor. This trap should be generated when the
neighbor timer expires, and the router has no other
neighbors on the same interface with the same IP version and
a lower IP address than itself.

This notification is generated whenever the counter
pimNeighborLossCount is incremented, subject
to the rate limit specified by pimNeighborLossTrapPeriod.
.0.54.2.0.2
A pimInvalidRegister trap signifies that an invalid PIM
Register message was received by this device.

This notification is generated whenever the counter
pimInvalidRegisterMsgsRcvd is incremented, subject to the
rate limit specified by pimInvalidRegisterTrapPeriod.
.0.54.2.0.3
A pimInvalidJoinPrune trap signifies that an invalid PIM
Join/Prune message was received by this device.

This notification is generated whenever the counter
pimInvalidJoinPruneMsgsRcvd is incremented, subject to the
rate limit specified by pimInvalidJoinPruneTrapPeriod.
.0.54.2.0.4
A pimRPMappingChange trap signifies a change to the active
RP mapping on this device.

This notification is generated whenever the counter
pimRPMappingChangeCount is incremented, subject to the
rate limit specified by pimRPMappingChangeTrapPeriod.
.0.54.2.0.5
A pimInterfaceElection trap signifies that a new DR or DF
has been elected on a network.

This notification is generated whenever the counter
pimInterfaceElectionsWinCount is incremented, subject to the
rate limit specified by pimInterfaceElectionTrapPeriod.
