For DataPower Gateway for VMware, you can create IBM License Metric Tool packages on a schedule or on demand. Independent of how you create packages, these packages with the scan results are created in the local:///ilmt/output directory. The package name includes the time stamp of when the package was created. By default, the DataPower Gateway does not create ILMT packages. To create packages on a schedule, you must enable the disconnected ILMT scanner. When enabled, packages are once a week. You can change scan interval. To create a package on demand, you force a scan.
