Enumeration
Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) uses a checksum
mechanism in order to authenticate packets on both sides (the
receiving side and the transmitting side).
Presently, two checksum mechanisms are available:
0 = adler32 checksum mechanism
1 = crc32c checksum mechanism (improved mechanism).
