This parameter contains the number of symbols used to measure the SNR(f) values. It is an unsigned integer in the range from 1 to 2^16-1. After a loop diagnostic procedure, this parameter shall contain the number of symbols used to measure the SNR(f). It should correspond to the value specified in the Recommendation (e.g., the number of symbols in 1 s time interval for ITU-T Recommendation G.992.3).
