An ACL filter is an ordered list of patterns. A filter consists of a sorted list of (index, pattern) pairs, where the index indicates the relative position on the list and the pattern indicates the pattern identifier. Up to 100 filters may be defined on the system, and each filter may contain up to 256 (index, pattern) pairs.
