tmnxPortChanType is applicable only when the 'isSonet' and/or 'isTDM'
bits in TIMETRA-CHASSIS-MIB:tmnxMDACapabilities are set. It indicates
the type of the channel. For ports on Ethernet MDA's, the value of
this object will be 'unknown'.
