The value of tmnxChassisNumSlots indicates the maximum number of slots that can be made available for plug-in cards if the maximum number of physical router chassis are populated. This includes both CPM and IOM/IMM/XCM slots. For systems that support only a single physical chassis, tmnxChassisNumSlots and tmnxChassisOperNumSlots are the same value and are equal to the number of physical slots in the chassis.
