The number of messages that were discarded by the syslog receiver. This will include messages that were discarded because the message size was greater than the system's maximum message size. If this syslog entity is not a syslog receiver this object will have a zero value. Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of syslogOperationsCounterDiscontinuityTime.
