This object specify the auto-summary status.If enabled, summary routes are sent in regular updates for both rip v1 and v2.If split hoizon is enabled, summary is sent only if atlest one subnet route is learned over an interface which is different from the interface over which the update is sent.If all the subnet routes are learned over the same interface over which updates are sent, then summary is not send. With poisson reverse enabled, summary is sent either with metric 16 or with proper metric according to the interfaces over which subnet routes were learnt. If summary is disabled, either individual subnet route are sent or subnet routes are sent based on the specfic aggregation configured over the interface.
