Object
A count of frames for which transmission fails due to excessive collisions. The threshold is either 16 in the normal mode of operation, or 4 in the Enhanced Congestion Control (ECC) mode. Thus, this count is the sum of the corresponding instances of the swPortTxExcessiveCollision16s object, and the swPortTxExcessiveCollision4s object.

How SNMP and these commands workWalk the column to discover its indexed instances, or supply every index to read one instance.
Walk the column
/usr/bin/snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c '<community>' -Pud -Ir -OQUs -m 'STAND-ALONE-ETHERNET-SWITCH-MIB' -M '/opt/observium/mibs/cisco:/opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp' 'udp:<hostname>:161' 'STAND-ALONE-ETHERNET-SWITCH-MIB::swPortTxExcessiveCollisions'
More examples
Read one indexed instance
/usr/bin/snmpget -v2c -c '<community>' -Pud -Ir -OQUv -m 'STAND-ALONE-ETHERNET-SWITCH-MIB' -M '/opt/observium/mibs/cisco:/opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp' 'udp:<hostname>:161' 'STAND-ALONE-ETHERNET-SWITCH-MIB::swPortTxExcessiveCollisions.<swPortTxStatIndex>'
Translate to a numeric OID
