A counter of the number of writes performed on this storage area which for areas residing in flash memory is an indication of the flash memory age. This number is the maximum number of writes for any of the access units (e.g. sector) from the storage area. A value of zero means the storage area is not in use. A value of -1 means the age is unknown (or unavailable).
