The method used to select a default IP router. The following value is read-only: other(1).......not applicable or other case The following values are read-write: config(2).....use configured primary default router. If no primary default router is specified, there will be no default IP route. static(3).....A default router will be chose from the routers known to be up and that have been configured. dynamic(4)....ICMP router discovery as per RFC 1256 is performed and the router with the highest preference level is chosen as default router.
