column SNMPv2-SMIInteger32 
This variable indicates the Status of the interface.
It contains failure state information.
The variable is a bit map represented as a sum, therefore,
it can represent multiple failures simultaneously.
The sonetSectionLineNoDefect must be set if and only if no
other flag is set.
The various bit positions are:
    1    sonetSectionLineNoDefect
    2    sonetSectionLOS  Loss Of Signal
    4    sonetSectionLOF  Loss Of Frame
    8    sonetSectionLOC  Loss Of Clock
    16   sonetLineAIS     Alarm Indication Signal
    32   sonetLineRDI     Remote Defect Indication
    64   sonetLineRFI     Remote Failure Indication
         (RDI lasts for 2.5 (+-0.5) seconds)
    128  sonetLineEBER    Excessive Bit Error Rate (i.e.EED)
    256  sonetLineSD      Signal Degradation
    512  sonetOOF         Out Of Frame
    1024 sonetSectionTIM  Trace Identifier Mismatch
