Enumeration
This parameter indicates whether the device (MX or MPH) should generate dial tones for the channel. If the value is yes (3), it generates dial tones. If the value is no (2), the connected equipment will generate dial tones. For example for some ISDN sets the dial tone is generated by the phone itself while for others sets it is generated by the MX.
