This entry can be used to instruct the PAD whether to delay the forwarding of a data packet when an escape character is detected in the data stream and to determine the required delay. The packet forwarding is delayed until the specified number of characters is received after the escape character. A value of zero indicates no special handling( at the moment up to 10 chars are accepted).
