The Super Tandem feature provides end to end compression over multiple hops, solving the double compression problem detected in Voice compressing systems. The Super Tandem allows transmission of compressed voice between a few Vmux 2100 hubs, and eliminates the need to decompress an recompress it over each voice card and PBX, thus improving voice quality and reducing delay.
