Object
Getting this variable will return the group state. If the group is on, the immediateOn (2) value will be returned. If the group is off, the immediateOff (1) value will be returned. If the state of the group cannot be determined, the outletUnknown (7) value will be returned. If the outletUnknown condition should occur, all devices powered by the PDU should be shut down. The PDU's power should then be cycled to clear this condition. Setting this variable to immediateOn (2) will immediately turn the group on. Setting this variable to immediateOff (1) will immediately turn the group off. Setting this variable to immediateReboot (5) will cause the Switched PDU to perform an immediateOff command, wait the pdug5OutletControlRebootOffTime OID time, and then perform an immediateOn command. Setting this variable to delayedOn (4) will turn the group on after the pdug5OutletControlSequenceDelay OID time has elapsed. Setting this variable to delayedOff (3) will turn the group off after the pdug5OutletControlShutoffDelay OID time has elapsed. Setting this variable to delayedReboot (6) will cause the Switched PDU to perform a delayedOff command, wait the pdug5OutletControlRebootOffTime OID time, and then perform a delayedOn command.

Type Description
Represents textual information taken from the NVT ASCII
character set, as defined in pages 4, 10-11 of RFC 854.
To summarize RFC 854, the NVT ASCII repertoire specifies:
- the use of character codes 0-127 (decimal)
- the graphics characters (32-126) are interpreted as
US ASCII
- NUL, LF, CR, BEL, BS, HT, VT and FF have the special
meanings specified in RFC 854
- the other 25 codes have no standard interpretation
- the sequence 'CR LF' means newline
- the sequence 'CR NUL' means carriage-return
- an 'LF' not preceded by a 'CR' means moving to the
same column on the next line.
- the sequence 'CR x' for any x other than LF or NUL is
illegal. (Note that this also means that a string may
end with either 'CR LF' or 'CR NUL', but not with CR.)
Any object defined using this syntax may not exceed 255
characters in length.
