A change in the DCD (Data Carrier Detect) signal
indicates that the modem connection status has
changed. For example, if the DCD signal changes to
low, it indicates that the connection line is down.
When the DCD signal changes to low, the Terminal Server CN2600
series will immediately send an e-mail
message.
