It displays one of the following states
(1). unknown -- The port's current state is unknown.
     (The port's current state will stay in unknown state
     if the node's current state is in init state.)
(2). blocking -- The transmission and reception of traffic
     are blocked.
(3). forwarding -- The traffic can be transmitted and received
     normally.
