Object
The interface index for the interface from which the
source address for session is chosen. If non-zero, BGP
will look for the first address on this interface with a
type matching eltexBgpPeerRemoteAddrType, and use that as the
source address.
This field can be changed at any time, causing the peer to
be immediately deactivated and reactivated.
If the configured interface (or address on that interface)
did not exist when the peer was activated, and is
subsequently added, the peer will automatically use the
configured interface address. This will cause the peer to
be immediately deactivated and reactivated.

Type Description
This textual convention is an extension of the InterfaceIndex convention. The latter defines a greater than zero value used to identify an interface or interface sub-layer in the managed system. This extension permits the additional value of zero. the value zero is object-specific and must therefore be defined as part of the description of any object which uses this syntax. Examples of the usage of zero might include situations where interface was unknown, or when none or all interfaces need to be referenced.
