The Access Point Name. It is composed of two parts:
- The APN Network Identifier is mandatory and is a
fully qualified domain name according to the DNS
naming conventions, e.g., 'company.com.'.
- The APN Operator Identifier is optional. It is a
fully qualified domain name according to the DNS
naming convention, and consists of three labels,
the last of which must be '.gprs'. For example,
'mncyyyy.mcczzzz.gprs'.
An example of a full APN name with both the Network
and operator identifiers is
'company.com.mncyyyy.mcczzzz.gprs'.
