Object
This variable controls whether broadcast ARP packets can be sent for an IPv4 address where there is no stored previous knowledge about a MAC/IP binding. The total number of broadcast ARPs to send before switching to the not-present state is limited by the cadAgingArpCacheSearchingMaxNumber variable. If cadAgingArpCacheSearchingCableBroadcast is false and there is no stored previous knowledge about a MAC/IP binding, the ARP cache entry will transition immediately to the not-present state.
