The number for this CLI list entry. Setting the number to a zero length string removes the entry from the CLI list, with consequent reshuffling of CLI entry indices. Thus the easiest way to delete an entire CLI list is to repeatedly set the first element in the list to a zero length string. A failure to SET will occur when this is attempted on an empty list.
