notification
The newRootVcpState notification is generated when the previous root bridge has been aged out and a new root bridge has been elected. The new root bridge creates a new spanning tree topology and it may denote loss of customer access or redundancy. Check the new topology against the provisioned topology to determine severity of connectivity loss.
