The Multi Protection Group table. This table is used to create multi protection groups. A multi-protection group defines a set of protection pairs in which their switching logic is linked causing them to all switch at the same time. Each protection pair must be redundant(the working-entity and protect- entity are on different cards) and mapped to a timeslot within the same high-speed ODU1.
