column SNMPv2-SMIInteger32 
This variable indicates the Status of the interface.  
It contains failure state information.  
The variable is a bit map represented as a sum, therefore, it
can represent multiple failures simultaneously.  
The sonetPathNoDefect must be set if and only if no other flag is set.
              
The various bit positions are:
   1   sonetPathNoDefect
   2   sonetPathSTSLOP		   			Loss Of Pointer
   4   sonetPathSTSAIS		   			Alarm Indication Signal
   8   sonetPathSTSRDI		  	 		Remote Defect Indication
  16   sonetPathUnequipped	   			Signal Label Unequipped
  32   sonetPathSignalLabelMismatch	Signal Label Mismatch
  64   sonetPathRFI   	 				Remote Failure Indication 
  										(RDI lasts for 2.5 (+-0.5) seconds)
 128   sonetPathEBER  	 				Excessive Bit Error Rate 
 256   sonetPathSD    	 				Signal Degradation
 512   sonetPathLOM   	 				Loss Of Multiframe.
