The value of tmnxMobProfDiaWatchdgTimer specifies the maximum amount of time the node waits for a diameter peer to respond to watchdog packet. When the watchdog timer expires, a Device-Watchdog-Request (DWR) is sent to the diameter peer and the watchdog timer is reset. If a Device-Watchdog-Answer (DWA) is not received before the next expiration of the watchdog timer, transport failure to the Diameter peer has occurred.
