vRtrLdpPeerPeIDMacFlushInterop
TIMETRA-LDP-MIB ·
.1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.8.16.1.21
Object
The value of vRtrLdpPeerPeIDMacFlushInterop specifies whether LDP will
react to and send the non-standard PE-ID TLV (type 0x405) in an
address withdraw message to effect 'flush-all-from-me' behavior. It is
used to provide interoperability with other vendors that use this TLV
for the MAC flush mechanism. Only FEC type 128 is currently supported.
Peer LDP sessions must be manually configured towards the PEs
requiring support for this TLV.
When the value of vRtrLdpPeerPeIDMacFlushInterop is set to 'true', the
receipt of an address withdraw message with empty MAC list including
the non-standard TLV will trigger 'flush-all-from-me' behavior instead
of the normal 'flush-all-but-mine'. The TLV will be included in any
forwarding towards like-configured peers.
When the value of vRtrLdpPeerPeIDMacFlushInterop is set to 'false',
the non-standard TLV will be ignored and will not be included in any
address withdraw messages sent to the peer.
This object was obsoleted in release 13.0.
