tBgpInstanceAddPathEnable
TIMETRA-BGP-MIB ·
.1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.14.2.22.1.1
Object
The value of tBgpInstanceAddPathEnable specifies whether the BGP
ADD-PATH send capability is enabled on this BGP instance.
ADD-PATH allows a BGP router to advertise multiple distinct paths for
the same prefix/NLRI(Network Layer Reachability Information). This
capability provides a number of potential benefits like reduced
routing churn, faster convergence, better loadsharing etc.
When the value of tBgpInstanceAddPathEnable is set to 'true', the BGP
ADD-PATH send limit objects tBgpInstanceAddPathIpv4Limit,
tBgpInstanceAddPathVpnIpv4Limit, tBgpInstanceAddPathIpv6Limit,
tBgpInstanceAddPathVpnIpv6Limit, tBgpInstanceAddPathLblIpv4Limit, and
tBgpInstanceAddPathLblIpv6Limit represent their assigned values.
The default value of tBgpInstanceAddPathEnable is 'false', which means
the ADD-PATH capability is disabled on this BGP instance and the
values of the BGP ADD-PATH send limit objects are not valid.
