tBgpInstLegacyFaultTolerance
TIMETRA-BGP-MIB ·
.1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.14.2.24.1.63
Object
The value of tBgpInstLegacyFaultTolerance specifies whether the legacy
fault tolerance mode of BGP, and its related configuration, are
permitted.
When it is set to 'true', configuration for
tBgpInstanceFaultTolerance, tBgpPGFaultTolerance and
tBgpPeerNgFaultTolerance is applied. Fault-tolerance is enabled or
disabled as per these set values.
When it is set to 'false', configuration for
tBgpInstanceFaultTolerance, tBgpPGFaultTolerance and
tBgpPeerNgFaultTolerance is ignored and fault-tolerance is always
enabled.
Fault-tolerance controls whether or not the non-disruptive approaches
mentioned in RFC 7606 are used for handling a wide range of UPDATE
message errors.
