Enumeration
The configuration status of this port.
Setting this object to the value invalid(4)
has the effect of invalidating the corresponding
entry in the atportTable. That is, it
effectively disassociates the mapping identified
with said entry. It is an
implementation-specific matter as to whether the
agent removes an invalidated entry from the table.
Accordingly, management stations must be
prepared to receive from agents tabular
information corresponding to entries not
currently in use. Proper interpretation of such
entries requires examination of the relevant
atportStatus object.

How SNMP and these commands workWalk the column to discover its indexed instances, or supply every index to read one instance.
Walk the column
/usr/bin/snmpbulkwalk -v2c -c '<community>' -Pud -Ir -OQUs -m 'RFC1243-MIB' -M '/opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp' 'udp:<hostname>:161' 'RFC1243-MIB::atportStatus'
More examples
Read one indexed instance
/usr/bin/snmpget -v2c -c '<community>' -Pud -Ir -OQUv -m 'RFC1243-MIB' -M '/opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp' 'udp:<hostname>:161' 'RFC1243-MIB::atportStatus.<atportIndex>'
Translate to a numeric OID
/usr/bin/snmptranslate -Pud -Ir -On -m 'RFC1243-MIB' -M '/opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp' 'RFC1243-MIB::atportStatus'
