bridge or the repeater. The valid values are:
Value AUI Port Fiber Port
0 Bridge Redundant
1 Redundant Bridge
2 Bridge Repeater
3 Repeater Bridge
4 Redundant Repeater
5 Repeater Redundant
Note: only values 0 and 1 are valid for rev 2 boards and before.
Note: only values 4 and 5 are valid for the IRM2.
