Object
Indicates whether or not to spoof the unit's MAC address on the WAN side:
enable: The unit's MAC address used on the WAN side is
the configured MAC address.
disable: The unit's MAC address used on the WAN side is
the actual unit's MAC address.
It is useful in the case of ISPs that use the MAC address of the device
connected to the Computer interface of the unit (e.g. a PC) to identify the
connection. When the ISP rather encounters the actual unit?s MAC address, it refuses
the connection. Spoofing the unit?s MAC address with the one of the device
connected to the Computer interface permits to be properly connected via the ISP.
