problems were encountered to prevent their
continued processing, but which were discarded
(e.g., for lack of buffer space).  Note that this
counter does not include any datagrams discarded
while awaiting re-assembly.
              
This object is obsoleted by IP-MIB::ipIfStatsInDiscards.
