The ECT-ALGORITHM in use. A 32 bit number. The ISIS Topology Index identifier to which this instance belongs. Each Topology Index defines logical topology and is used to enable multiple SPB instances within several ISIS instances.; the upper 24 bits are an OUI and the lower 8 bits are an index. This creates a world-wide unique identity for the computation that will be using the VID thus ensuring consistency.
