This parameter is minimum impulse noise protection for the bearer channel
in the downstream direction, expressed in symbols. The parameter can take the 
following values: noProtection (i.e., INP not required), halfSymbol(i.e., INP
length is 1/2 symbol) and 1-16 symbols in steps of 1 symbol.
