This MAC Station VLAN ID index to the standard Forwarding Database for Transparent Bridge Table. (dot1dTpFdbTable). Since the dot1dTpFdbTable index is the MAC Address assigned to one of the ports in the bridge(VLAN) and each MAC address can be re-assigned to a different ports belonging to different bridges(VLANs), the snMacStationVLanId can be used by users to specify which bridge(VLAN) MAC Station information of the dot1dTpFdbTable users want to retrieve. If users do not specify the VLan ID in this MIB, the default VLAN (bridge) ID will be used when dot1dTpFdbTable is retrieved.
