The value of tmnxDot3OamSdEventLogTimestamp indicates the sysUpTime at the time of the logged event. For locally generated events, the time of the event can be accurately retrieved from sysUpTime. For remotely generated events, the time of the event is indicated by the reception of the Event Notification OAMPDU indicating that the event occurred on the peer. A system may attempt to adjust the timestamp value to more accurately reflect the time of the event at the peer OAM entity by using other information, such as that found in the timestamp of the Event Notification TLVs, which provides an indication of the relative time between events at the peer entity.
