hlMatrixControlTable.  Each such entry defines
a function that discovers conversations on a particular
interface and places statistics about them in the
nlMatrixSDTable and the nlMatrixDSTable, and optionally the
alMatrixSDTable and alMatrixDSTable, on behalf of this
              
hlMatrixControlEntry.
