Indicates the upstream port, a combination of shelf ID, slot ID, and port ID. 8 bits for the shelf ID, 8 bits for the slot ID, and 16 bits for the port ID, forming an integer of 32 bits. The most significant 8 bits indicate the shelf ID, the next 8 bits indicate the slot ID, and the last 16 bits indicate the port ID.
