'unknown'      --  none of the  following.
              
'terminated'   --  the pair is properly terminated at the 
                   remote end.
              
'notCompleted' --  the test on this pair is not completed.
              
'notSupported' --  the test on this pair is not supported.
              
'open'         --  the pair is open. 
              
'shorted'      --  the pair is shorted.
              
'impedanceMismatch' -- the impedance of the pair is 
                       mismatched.
              
'broken'       -- the pair is broken.
              
'indeterminate' -- the status of the pair is indeterminate.
