L2 CFT Profile L2CFT protocol entry in the L2 CFT Profile L2CFT protocol table. Each virtual switch or RLAN in the system is implicitly associated with an L2CFT instance, whether or not it has been given an explicit L2CFT configuration. Normally, Layer 2 Control Frames(L2CFs) received in hardware are either sent to the CPU to be handled or discarded. L2CFT modifies this default behavior, so that the L2CFs for certain protocols can be transformed and forwarded as data frames.
