ODUs must be configured in pairs before a link can be established. The Access Method attribute determines how the paired ODUs will recognise each other. For the Link Access method, each ODU must be configured with Target MAC Address equal to the MAC Address of the other unit. For the Link Name Access method, both units must be configured with the same Link Name. For the Group Access method, both units must be configured with the same Group ID.
