Implementations are recommended to use a holdtime that is 3.5 times the value of pimInterfaceJoinPruneInterval, or 65535 if pimInterfaceJoinPruneInterval is set to zero. PIM-DM implementations are recommended to use the value of pimInterfacePruneLimitInterval.
